WHO IS IGOR ALMENARA?
I started as a freelancer, but time made me a tech journalist. Since I was little immersed in the hardware, games, software, and mobile industry, I grew up with great curiosity and passion for the segment. I graduated as a computer technician at the Fluminense Federal Institute of Campos dos Goytacazes and later joined the State University of Rio de Janeiro to become a computer engineer.
I produced texts for verticals of the NZN group ā Voxel, Mega Curioso, and TecMundo ā for two years. Among the creations were articles, tutorials, news, subtitling for interviews with international guests, and other formats. For external clients, I also delivered news articles, SEO helper texts, developer quizzes, and more.
In 2021, I joined Canaltech as a reporter. Initially, I contributed to the mobile editor, talking about cell phones, rumors, applications, and more. After a revamp, I was reassigned to a team dedicated to software, internet, and services, describing in detail OS updates, applications, changes to social networks, and various other topics.
In this blog/portfolio, I bring together the main creations of my career, in addition to giving space for independent projects.
